Sometimes what you want isn't always what you get, but in the end, what you get is so much better than what you wanted.

For your consideration…

I am sure when we hear, “You can’t always get what you want.”, many of us hear Mick Jagger singing those very lyrics. Indeed, that is how today’s message came in today.

While the song is about a relationship, our message is about our total life. We ask and pray for many things: relationships, money, jobs, etc. We are encouraged to do so. We are encouraged to communicate constantly with our Guides. Without judgement, no request is too big or too small.

Our message today tells us that we may not get what we want as we see it. It may be delivered differently. We may not get it when we want. It will be delivered in Divine Timing. Or we may not get what we want because something bigger and better is going to be delivered for our highest good.

We are reminded to ask for what we want but be open to what, how, and when it will be delivered.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Communicate with your Guides. Ask for what you want. Be flexible with what and when you get it.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Catching up with Jackie and Jody.

-Alex and the boys came for a swim and dinner.

-In attempting to show Conner how to bat off of a pop-up ball device, I swung too hard, could not stop myself, and ended up throwing myself off of my deck. Every time I remember the look on Conner and Alex’s face, I burst out laughing. Alex immediately jumped in to see if I was ok, wanting to know what hurt. “Everything but mostly my ankle,” I told her. “Good thing I’m a foot/ankle PA.” she responded as she started evaluating my foot and ankle. Conner remained stunned. Every time I woke up during the night, I burst out laughing. Relaying the story to Jacking, I couldn’t stop laughing. Today I am still laughing. I have a sore ankle, some pulled muscles, and a limp but I am blessed that nothing was broken and I have a memory to laugh at.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,
