The Missouri House Wren – A Thousand Acres of Silphiums

For your consideration…

I chose this picture because wrens brought in our message today and because they can sing from morning to night. Additionally, wrens are resourceful and bold. These are the characteristics we are focused on today.

Three wrens brought in today’s message. They remind us of two things. First, we have help available to us. Family, friends, neighbors, and even strangers are resources for us. But eventually, it is up to us to make the correct decisions and take the steps we need to grow and move forward.

Wrens are showing up today to remind us of our strength and resourcefulness. They are reminding us to let go of worries and be bold.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be bold.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Spending the morning with Alex, James, Conner, and Owen at Conner’s t-ball game and then at the playground.

-A good nap.

-Catching up with Cathy.

-Still laughing about my fall even though I limped all day.

-A new book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
