Get Ready For A Turn Around

For your consideration…

I love this message for its timing and the perfect example.

When I worked, Friday afternoon, when the weekend started, was my favorite time of the week. When my husband and I retired, Sunday night became our favorite time of the week.

Why? Because every Sunday afternoon, if not before, we started thinking about having to go to work the next day. We literally wasted a good part of our weekend dreading having to go to work on Monday. We knew this, but could not stop it. Vacations were the same way.

Our message today tells us this; “Rather than focusing on the end of something, focus on how great it was to have it.” Focus on the joy that it happened. Focus on our gratitude for it.”

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE aciton steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step fo rmy highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Focus on the goodness of what has happened and not the loss of it because it is over.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Catching up with Alex and Jody

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
