5 tips for reducing parental anxiety

For your consideration…

Worry and fret. We all do it. It is a natural part of being human.

But our message today wants us to realize that worry and fretting sucks up all of our energy and self promotes itself. It creates a vicious cycle in which we are out of control.

We are asked to notice our worry. Accept it. Then let it go freeing up space for solutions. Take control by doing something. Take a step or action no matter if it is small. Just do it and celebrate your success starting the cycle of receiving the answers you seek.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Remember…”You are loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Let worry go.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Dianne and I got the 5:00 am shuttle to the airport, had breakfast in the Sky Lounge, and caught our flights to Colorado.

-All went smooth. Jody was there waiting for us.

-In less than 4 hours, we had landed, got our bags, went for lunch, grocery shopped, shopped at the liquor store, and drove up to the cabin in the Sangre de Crissto mountains.

-Chilled on the porch and then some TV before a good nights snooze.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
