Sometimes You Have To Walk Away Quotes. QuotesGram

For your consideration…

This is not a political message, so please keep an open mind. This quote by the President is the closest and most encompassing fit for the message we were given today.

We are asked to consider the difference between quitting because we are giving up and quitting because it is time to. There is a big difference between quitting because we are defeated and walking away because we have had enough…our lessons have been learned, we have done all we can do, and it is time.

Often, we think this lesson is about relationships, but it is about everything in life. In Flight of the Buffalo James Balasco and Ralph Stayer wrote, “Change is hard because people overestimate what they have and underestimate the value of what they may gain by giving that up.”

When we are unhappy, are fighting change, disillusioned, etc., it is time for us to evaluate. Is it time for us to walk away and make a change? What is holding us back? Is our fear and/or pride holding us hostage and blinding our truth? We need to ask the tough questions and take action on what is right for ourselves.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Be  honest with yourself and know when to walk away.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Some yardwork done.

-Laundry done. Packing started.

-A short visit with Alex, James, and Conner.

-Catching up with Jackie and Cathy

-A new book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
