For your consideration…

Today’s message is specific to using our words to say what needs to be said in order to mend our hearts, our spirits, and/or help others.

Some of us have a hard time doing this. Perhaps we think it is not our business, and we bite our tongues. Sometimes we have used words that have hurt ourselves and/or others. Sometimes we have been hurt and not said anything. Or perhaps, we have argued and it is still not settled, so we go over it and over it in our minds until it becomes much bigger than it was to begin with.

Of course, sometimes it is better to have a cooling-off period if things are too intense. But that is all the more reason to come right back at it and get it settled once cooler heads prevail.

We might think that too much damage has been done but that is all the more reason to use our words to try and mend ourselves and others. We may be right and too much damage is done but we do not have to let it eat away at our souls. We can choose to forgive and let it go.

But we could also be wrong, and there is a path forward if we use our words and try to mend.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there cn be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is the next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lot sof water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Use your words and say what needs to be said.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day. Our fall has been magnificent.

-Several cards made.

-Catching up with Alex.

-I have been watching a couple of good TV series.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
