Tying up loose ends « Three Quarters & Counting

For your consideration…

Hmmm. I am not sure we have ever had this message before. I’m HOPING I can do a good job with it.

Normally, we would hear that we need to tie up loose ends to move on. Finish unfinished business. This is a good goal to live by. Tying up loose ends gives us a clean break with new starts.

But…there is always a but…nothing is absolute because we know the Universe is always rearranging itself to keep us in balance.

Time does not stand still. We are in perpetual motion, and we need to keep moving with it. Sometimes tying up loose ends takes too long. Sometimes we are waiting for the missing piece, action, person, etc., and it just doesn’t show up. Yet, we need to move on.

Our message today tells us we have a choice. We can either let go, accepting that it may never be finished. Or, we can “shelve” it. Let it go with a commitment to revisit it at a later date. But also committing that we will not let it take up space in our body, mind, and soul right now because we are committed to moving forward onto what needs to be next in our life. We need our body, mind, and soul to be unencumbered by loose ends.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Take care of loose ends.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Finished a lot more Christmas cards.

-Catching up with Alex, Cathy, and Mary.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
