For your consideration…

Every day I mention in “What made me smile yesterday…” I mention a beautiful day. Maybe it was sunny and warm, maybe it was rainy and damp, maybe it was snowy and frigid. It does not matter. It was a gift.

In reality every beautiful day if filled with beautiful moments because once again they are gifts. They are gifts because there was no guarantee we would have them.

That is the thing about time. Too often we do not give it thought. We take it for granted. We forget that time is not guaranteed to us. None of know when our last moment will be.

That thought can make us scared and anxious. Or we can use it to motivate us to be he best we can be in this moment. We can use it to inspire us to do things that we want to do “sometime.”

There is no time like the present to do what we want to get done. And certainly, there is no time like the present to say what you want to say to those you care about.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Remember how precious time is.

What made me smile yesterday…

Rev. Chris
