For your consideration…
I am sorry that this “daily” blog has become not so daily, sporadic, in fact. Let me explain.
I went to Colorado for a week’s vacation. I have done this before and been able to write my blog. I believe because the winds were so intense and the fires were going around Colorado, internet was unstable. Writing the blog became not possible. On the morning of my trip home, I learned that my brother, who has cancer, woke up without his sight and was taken to the hospital. He lives in Georgia. I had a layover in Atlanta. I decided to not take the last leg of my trip home. Instead, I rented a car and a hotel close to the hospital. I have been there with him for the last several days. Always HOPEful we were very sad to learn that his cancer is spreading rapidly and had gone to his brain, which caused the brain bleed and loss of his sight.
I have a closing on my emails that reads, “Realize the moment and make it count for God has made it perfect.” I have reminded myself of this many times over the past several days.
We don’t know from one day, even one moment, to the next what is in store for us. But it has been made perfect for us. It is exactly as it is supposed to be. Our job is to make it count.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Remember…Each moment has been made perfect for you.
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
What made me smile yesterday…
-A beautiful day.
-With the exception of about 5 minutes of rain in Georgia, the rest of my drive to Michigan was bright blue skies.
-Catching up with Jackie, Lori, Gordie, Cathy, Jody, Mojdeh, Jul, and Alex made my ride much shorter.
-A good book.
-A great night’s sleep.
