The “What If” Game

For your consideration…

We often have messages about looking back with “what if or if only.” Our messages remind us that time is always moving. Change is always happening. We can never go back. They are a waste of our time. Reflect on regrets and lessons learned, then move on. Etc.

Today’s message is a bit different. It tells us that we can use a glace back and “what if” to our benefit by using it as a tool of gratitude.  It can be helpful for us to look back and think what our life would be like if we had not met someone, not done something, not been cured of something, not received a chance at something, etc. We could go on forever. But the point is that for every regret, there is an abundance more to be grateful for.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Look back and “what if” finding things to be grateful for.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Finally, I am feeling great again.

-I got to spend the morning with my grandsons before taking them to daycare. Lots of smiles. Lots of laughs.

-Finally got my tags squared away at the Sec. of State.

-A good nap.

-Catching up with Alex and Lori.

-My brother was not kept at the hospital.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
