Words of encouragement - Robin Dance

For your consideration…

Our words matter. They carry weight. They have consequences. Sometimes we know this, but sometimes we don’t. Sometimes the recipient does not communicate how our words affected them.

We tend to think about “important” people and their words. We think about people like Oprah, influencers, etc., and the words they deliver as being important. In “truth,” their words may or may not be any more important than yours, a friend’s, a stranger’s, a neighbor’s, etc.

We cannot control the words of others. We can only control our own. We can, however, be mindful of our words. And we can control our reaction to the words of others.

That is theĀ HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be mindful of our words.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Lunch and shopping with Mac and Shannon.

-Catching up with Cathy and Lori.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
