For your consideration…

Happy Easter. I HOPE your day is filled with love, peace, HOPE, and joy.

On Easter we celebrate the fulfillment of the promise. The promise that Jesus would die for our sins and be risen so that our sins could be forgiven.

On Good Friday we mourn. On Easter Sunday we celebrate.

Our message today reminds us that the promise of forgiveness of sins is for everyone. Everyone has the opportunity to be forgiven.

Remember the phrase, “You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink.” This is the example we are given today. We all have the opportunity to have our sins forgiven but we have to ask for and accept it. We have to do our part. No one can do it for us.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

– Accept the opportunities put before you.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-A good visit with Mary in the hospital.

-Easter prepping.

-A good book.

-Yet another attempt at cake decorating. Someone please remind me to stay in my lane.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
