For your consideration…

As good people, friends, mothers, spouses, workers, bosses, neighbors, etc., we want to help others. We want to be there for them. Sometimes it is even for strangers that we want to make things easier for them.

Our message today is short. It tells us that it is good to be a good person of service to others. However, we must take at least as good of care of ourselves as we do others. If we don’t, we have consequences. We may become ill. We may become resentful. We may become sad or depressed.

We are asked today to get still. Listen to what your Spirit says YOU need. Take care of yourself. Be gentle with yourself. Put yourself first. This is not being selfish. It is being wise.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of others.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Take care of yourself.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

A chill day at home.

-Catching up with Mary.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
