no time like the present!

For your consideration…

I sure HOPE this message resonates with some of you because I am sure it is meant for me.

I often watch my youngest daughter and am in awe. I can not believe all that she gets done in a day. Then I remember. I did all of that when I was her age and when I was working.

The fact is, I got more done when I was working then I do now. I used to make fun of my husband because he had a rule. He did one thing a day. If he mowed the lawn, he did nothing else. If he went to the bank and paide bills, he did nothing else. Now I find myself being very satisfied if I get one task done. Then things come up, and suddenly I find myself short on time for getting things done. I had extra time I wasted away and left no time for the unexpected things that popped up. I used to be prepared for anything. Now, not so much. So for sure this message is for me.

Our message today is the old saying, “Don’t put off for tomorrow what you can get done today.” You just don’t know what tomorrow will bring or even if you have a tomorrow.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Remember how precious time is. Ask yourself, “Do I really want to waste it?”

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Catching up with Lori, Cathy, Alex, and Julie.

-A good Bible Study with Cindy.

-I finished my book club book and started a new one.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
