For your consideration…

When the word “minucia” came in for today’s message, I had to admit, I had to look it up. I thought I had a general idea when used in the context of a sentence but to be sure, I had to google it.

“Minucia” is a Spanish/Portuguese word meaning minor detail or trivial thing. Our exact message today was. “Don’t get caught up in the minucia. Let it go and focus on the main goal or what we really want.

We don’t have to go far to pick an example. Turn on the news and pick one issue. I am sure that each one of us can find a person who disagrees with us, has a different point of view. We can argue our points endlessly. It is easy to let our passion keep us in the proverbial loop. But if we do as our message asks, let it go, pause, and ask ourselves, “So what?” “What is really important?” Then repeat over and over until we drill down to what it is that we all want. What is it that our world, our Universe, truly needs? Can we deliver that? Who can?

Our message wants us to let go of the arguing. Remember, one of our recent messages asked us to be the best we can be in each moment. Is that ever bitterly arguing about the minucia?

We are asked to let it go. There is a Divine Plan in play. Our job is to be the best we can be right now, exactly where we are and with who we are with.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Let go of the minucia and let God.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-I ventured out in my new area looking for some stores I needed.

-I took a P. Buckley Moss print I wanted reframed in and think I’ll be happier with it when it is done.

-I found a Home Goods very close and exactly what I needed.

-A great cooking class.

-Catching up with my brother and sister.

-A new book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
