For your consideration…

I love when a song brings in a message. However, it can be annoying because it will just keep playing on a loop in your head until you get the message written. I know this and, of course, the resolution is to just get up and write the message instead of being a lazy bones.

Today’s message has two main components. The first is that there are times when you should take the lead and times when you should follow and take a supporting role. Both roles present opportunities for learning and growth.

The second part of the message is to make a choice and go for it. Just do something. Don’t miss that opportunity. The song that brought in today’s message is by John Michael Montgomery called, “Life’s a Dance. It speaks to learning not to miss chances. Let go of fear.

Life’s a dance you learn as you go
Sometimes you lead, sometimes you follow
Don’t worry ’bout what you don’t know
Life’s a dance you learn as you go

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Live life. Take a chance at what is put before you.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-My friend, Pam, came out and we found a great new place close by for “happy hour.”

-Catching up with Alex and Jody.

-James brought Moose out to stay for the weekend while the family goes to Chicago.

-Finished another good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
