For your consideration…

It has been a long time since we have had a message specifically about judgment. I think it is long past due.

Pause and think about “judgment.” When we do that, we realize that discord is a result of it. Without it, it is hard to ignite.

It is not that we should not think about things and weigh right from wrong, good versus bad, benefit versus risk, etc. The contemplation is positive, until we subject our outcomes onto others or them us. When we judge ourselves right and others wrong, and them us, is where conflict starts.

The exchange of ideas is good. It is when judgment is added that things can turn south in a hurry.

We are asked to notice. Notice any disagreements. Notice the source. Is it the idea or the judgment that is causing the conflict?

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Don’t let judgment stunt your growth or interfere with your peace.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Catching up with both my girls, Jody, and Barb.

-An unexpected request to pick up Owen from school meant I got to see both my boys which is always a joy.

-A good book.

-Some crafting done.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
