For your consideration…

This message is so great and timely for so many of us. How many people are we around who are grumpy, unhappy, self=righteous, or downright angry and mean. Turn on the TV. It full of of know-it-alls.

Our message today tells us this is because they are not flexible. They are close minded. It is true that we need to be true to our core values. Those being ones that are rooted in Divine love and absolute proven truth. Beyond that we are reminded that we need to be open-minded, good listeners, teachable. We need to be like a tree with roots firmly planted but able to be malleable and bend with our environment.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be flexible.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-A chill day at home putting Thanksgiving decorations away and pulling out Christmas.

-Started making out my Christmas cards. I am behind but I am sure no one is noticing.

-Catching up with Jackie.

-Every day I read. I can’t imagine a day where I don’t. Consequently, I  have two kindles in case one runs out of batteries. Over a month ago, I misplaced one. I have looked everywhere like purses I have changed out and suitcases. My desktop has been acting up. I have been using my laptop. I finally reloaded Firefox and we seem to be back up and running. As I was putting my laptop away, I wrapped the cord up and when I put it in the cases pocket, I found my other kindle. Wahoo.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
