Destiny

For your consideration…

I am not surprised by today’s message. It is very similar to a conversation that I had with a close friend this weekend. Politically, we are far apart. I believe that we are blessed because we can disagree, and our love for one another remains unchanged.

Most would agree that society is very divided. Throughout history, society has been divided. What is different is that we can not have conversations about our disagreements. We are not having discussions. So there is a lot of anger. This is not good for our highest self or the highest self of others.

So what can we do? We can remember that we are not in charge of destiny. There is a higher plan in play. We can argue, fight, moan and groan until the cows come home and it will make zero difference. Our God has a plan in play. It is all good so rise above the anger and pettiness and let go and let God.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Let go and rise above confident that God has control of destiny.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Catching up with Alex and Mary.

-Beth and I tried a great new restaurant in Detroit.

-We saw “The Beauty and the Beast” at the Fisher Theater. It was great.
