For your consideration…

This is not the image I had in mind when I went searching. But I loved it because it defines what it takes for a person to be a change agent.

This is the season of peace. It is the season reminding us that we should all be seeking peace. It is the season that reminds us that we should all be promoting peace. It is the season that reminds us that we should support those who do seek peace.

To do that we have to be open to change which is hard for most of us especially if we are not necessarily uncomfortable with where our lives are at. You know, “Why rock the boat?”

But today’s message asks us to not only seek peace but to also be a change agent either by example or jumping in and redirecting the moment.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be a change agent.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Alex, James, Conner, Owen and I went to the Detroit Symphony Orchestra’s Winter Wonderland concert. It was great.

-We  had lunch at City Center which was also great.

-Catching up with Lori.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
