For your consideration…

I laughed when I got today’s message. I immediately thought of my 4-year-old grandson. Like most children, he likes to give his parents a run for their money sometimes. When he has pushed one too many buttons, my daughter will send him to his room with instructions to stay until he finds his “happy.” In other words, stay until he changes his attitude.

We are never too old for this advice. No matter how hard we try, we “emit” our attitude, our energy, wherever we go. Do we want to contaminate the space surrounding others? My mom used to say, “Misery loves company.” But most of us don’t want that. We want to be a bright energy, a booster, to those we share space with.

Winston Churchill said, “Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.” The world would be a much different place if he didn’t believe that. His attitude kept Britain strong. His persistence brought Britain the help and support they needed to win World War II.

We are invited to beware of our attitude. If things aren’t going well, that is the first thing we should check. If they are going well, take note for future reference.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Sync your attitude with your loving heart.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-I am hooked on the Great British Sewing Bee.

-I usherd at Hill Auditorium for Box Scaggs. He was great.

-A good book.

-Catching up with Shannon and Cathy.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
