For your consideration…

I adore this image. I see mutual respect, love, joy, and trust.

We often are reminded that we receive guidance, our next step, comfort, etc., in many different ways. We are reminded to stay alert that our Guidance is with us 24/7 ready and willing to help us.

Our message today is about wisdom and learning. Our life experiences teach us and help us grow. With age we acquire wisdom. We are encouraged to share our wisdom with others. Makes perfect sense.

Today’s message has a different twist. it reminds us that we receive wisdom and lessons from many different things, and in many different ways. Specifically today, we are asked to remember that older is not always wiser. When we thought about fear yesterday, we were told that it is our acquired opinions, beliefs, and biases that are the root of fear. Today we are reminded of the same thing. Sometimes the wisdom passed down from elders contains those very same things.

On the flip side, our youth has not yet acquired those same biases. They are not tainted. That smile of joy directed at you is not expecting anything. There is much to be said of the saying, “Out of the mouths of babes.” We can learn much from our youth.

That is our HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm….“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?” Listen and watch. Our answers come in many different forms and ways.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Listen to the youth with open ears, minds, and hearts.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-More office/craft room organization.

-I spent the night with Alex, Owen, and Conner.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
