For your consideration…

Consider this quote by Lloyd Jones, “Those who try to do something and fail are infinitely better than those who try to do nothing and succeed.

Too often, we let our fear of failure or fear of being embarrassed prevent us from trying something new. Yet if we stop and think about it, we admire those people who do try. We don’t give it a second thought on whether they fail or succeed. We don’t care about that. We admire their courage.

We are approaching a new year. We are asked to consider stepping out of our comfort zone and trying the new things we have wanted to do. We are asked to consider taking the first step towards meeting new people.

We always have an opportunity to learn and grow. We have to take the steps to seize those opportunities.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Step out of our comfort zone.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day, albeit a bit dicey and icy.

-Laundry done.

-House put back in order after our Christmas gathering.

-Catching up with Cathy, Lori, Mary, and Alex.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
