Doing Something New Is Good for You | Psychology Today

For your consideration…

It is easy to get in a rut. Sometimes we realize it, but sometimes we don’t.

We need to move forward and grow. To do that, we need to try new things. They don’t have to be big things. They can be a new recipe, a new sport, a new hairdo, a different genre of books, movies, or music.

Try something new. Spread your wings. Feel the stretch. Pat yourself on the back.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Try something new.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Nails done.

-Discovering a couple of new stores in my area.

-Babysitting my grandsons.

-Shopping for hosting my book club done.

-Catching up with Lori and Jackie.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
