Three Ways to Think About 'Is It Worth It?' - The New York Times

For your consideration…

Today, we are asked to consider asking ourselves one question about what we want, our goals, our work, family situations, our health, purchases, etc.

The question is, “Is the price worth it?” Whether it is currency, labor, emotions, etc., “Is the price worth it?”

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of  your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Ask the question against any situation, “Is it worth the price?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-A great car ride back from Sandusky, Ohio.

-We stopped for lunch at a great new restaurant in Toledo. It was dog friendly, kid friendly, and had great food. It is The Great Pickle Company. They have pickle ball courts.

-Reading my book club book. It is different.

-Catching up with Shannon and Cathy.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
