Mindful Pause – Brief Practice

For your consideration…

Our example for today’s message comes from the TV. There is a brief delay to give the producers time to “bleep” our inappropriate language.

We are asked today to give ourselves that brief delay between our thoughts and words so that we can edit them.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

 

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Use pauses and delays wisely.

 

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-A magnificent thunderstorm.

-Catching up with Alex, Shannon, and Jody.

-A good book.
