May include: A framed print featuring five pelicans in flight against a vibrant sunset sky. The birds are silhouetted, with wings spread wide. The sky transitions from orange to blue, creating a dramatic and colorful scene.

For your consideration…

Above is a beautiful picture of pelicans flying. In the air, they are accomplished and graceful. However, their takeoff from land is far from that. They are very ungraceful.

They are the example we are given today for our message. Many of us do not make attempts at things we would like to do because of our “take-off”, the learning curve we need to become successful.

We are invited to try anyway. Embrace the learning period. Use our sense of humor. Celebrate our attempts, successful or not. Learn and grow.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness. You add to the light of others.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Try.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Jul, Kay, Vicki, and Betsy came for dinner. Lots of laughs.

Catching up with Alex and Lori.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
