For your consideration…

“I don’t know what she sees in him/her.” “I don’t get it.” These are comments we often hear in conversation about other people. It is true. It happens every day. How one person sees someone is not the same as what others see. How is this possible?

It is because what we see in others is a self-reflection. We recognize behaviors, character traits, attitudes, emotions , behaviors in others because we harbor them as well. If we are critical it is because we are hiding them in ourselves. They are parts of ourselves we do not like. We recognize them in others so that we can work on them in ourselves.

Of course, the opposite is true as well. Those things we admire in others are also a reflection of ourself.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Notice the reflection.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-A great teaching day.

-Catching up with both of my girls, Kelly, and Mary.

-A good doctor’s report for Mary. It is the first one we have gotten we have gotten.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
