Lunar eclipse August 2026: Where will it be visible, what time will it peak and how to watch - The Economic Times

For your consideration…

I am not an expert in astrology, but I definitely realize its importance in our lives.

It seems like every person I talk to has big things happening in their lives this month. By no means does this message minimize those in any way. Again, this message does not minimize them.

So why does that need to be noted? Because the moons in this month are having a huge impact on all of us. On August 12th, the new moon coincided with a total solar eclipse. On August 28th the Sturgeon Moon peaks. On the night of the 27th and 28th a deep partial lunar eclipe begins peaking at about 12:12 AM on the 28th.

These are big events. We have been asked to release what no longer serves us and get ready for new things that will serve us better. This is all good. But…there is always a but…the moon’s energy is huge. It is impacting us big time. It makes everything seem much bigger than it actually is. It makes us feel like we need to respond in a much bigger way than is called for.

Big things are happening. Before we go off half-cocked, as my mom would say, take a breath. Take a moment. Don’t be tempted to make an already big deal bigger than it is.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…I am loved.

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Before we overreact, take a breath and think about it.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Catching up with Lori.

-A good book.

-Some card making done.

-A going-away party for Mac. It was a great family get-together.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
