Orioles

For your consideration…

As you can see, this is not a professional picture. I snapped it while sitting on my family room couch this morning. This is the second day that Orioles have sat in my hummingbird feeder. They sit on it. Then they jump to the window sill and watch me. As I often write, we are asked to pay attention to the signs that are put in front of you.

We are in the midst of season changes. Orioles are symbols of summer and sunshine. This makes their persistence with me even more symbolic because it is raining for the second day in a row. Today there is not a spot of sunshine. Orioles are here to remind us that sunshine is on its way. Summer is on its way.

They also remind us of weaving or making new sunshine via change. Change is hard but orioles remind us that perhaps through change with new projects or endeavors,  we will have even brighter sunshine. happiness and success.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Look for the signs your Guidance puts in front of you.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day. It both rain and sunshine.

-I spent the morning with Amelia, Sloan, Bob and Kathy before taking Conner to school and then again in the afternoon.

-A great afternoon teaching.

-Catching up with Cathy, Mary, and Jackie.

-A good book.
