There's No Place Like Home - RevWords
For your consideration..,
Every time I hear that saying, I hear it in Judy Garland’s voice in the Wizard of Oz. Of course, Dorothy is trying to get home.
There is no place like home but our message is deeper than the place we call home. Homes are made with things that are personal to us. Things that have meaning. It is the feelings it evokes.
Still deeper than that we are reminded that we must be at peace in our soul. We are never truly at home until we are at peace with who we are. We like who we are. We like who we have become. We know ourself. We are comfortable with our power and use it wisely. This is the true meaning of no place like home.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved,”
-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 1- deep breaths.
-Know your true “home.”
