For your consideration…

Jean Jacques Rousseau wrote, “What wisdom can you find that is greater than kindness?” I am sure that you have your very own favorite quotes and thoughts on kindness. All of us know the importance of it.

Today’s message wants to talk about kindness in specific times and situations. Specifically, when we disagree. Too often, if not most often, we withdraw kindness when we disagree. These are the exact times where it is needed most. Further, the stronger the disagreement and discord, the stronger the injection of kindness should be.

Where there is mean-spirit, bring kindness, apply kindness, be kindness.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Apply kindness.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Catching up with Jody and Alex.

-Gift wrapping almost done.

-Lisa came out and we went to dinner.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
