For your consideration…

It is hard, I think, to live without judgment. It seems like we are required to have an opinion about most everything. It is one thing to have an opinion. It is another to be judgmental about it.

Specific to today’s message we are asked to not judge those we disagree with. Simply accept that they have their own opinion and reasons for it. We do not have to let it affect us. We don’t have to let it change us unless we choose to let it. We do not have to let judgment interrupt our life.

Consider this Rumi quote;

“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I will meet you there.”

We can choose to overlook differences and find common ground.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Suspend judgment. Focus on the possibilities of common ground.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Jody is once again hosting us at her beautiful cabin in the mountains.

-Ahhh…the peace of it all.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
