For your consideration…

Our message actually came in via the song, “Every Rose Has Its Thorns,” by Poison. “Just like every night has its dawn.”

When we are in despair, sad, etc., it is easy to forget that it is temporary. Life is in flux, always. This moment, this time in our life, will pass.

I love these lyrics from an old gospel song, “Light After Darkness” by Frances Havergal, 1879. Ira Sankey.

“Light after darkness, gain after loss,

Strength after weakness, crown after cross;

Sweet after bitter, hope after fears,

Home after wandering, praise after tears.

Sheaves after sowing, sun after rain,

Sight after mystery, peace after pain;

Joy after sorrow, calm after blast,

Rest after weariness, sweet rest at last.

Near after distance, gleam after gloom,

Love after lonliness, life after tomb

After long agony, rapture of bliss.

Right was the pathway, leading to this.

This is the reason why we should have HOPE.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Stoke your HOPE.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-A great card-making class. It is always fun.

-Lunch with Janet.

-I love P. Buckley Moss. I have been looking for prints for one of my bathrooms. I found a seller on Facebook Market Place. He sold me 5 double-matted, framed, and signed prints for $100. I am in love with them. After a year, I am finally done decorating my new home.

-Catching up with Jackie and Barb.

-Alex and I got a lot of baby shower planning done and I started making some of the cards we need.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
