For your consideration…

We receive lots of messages about reaching out and helping others. Going that extra step and offering a smile or helping hand is good. Right?

Of course it is. until/unless we are focusing on others to avoid focusing on ourselves.

We have a life purpose. Tasks and challenges are put in our path for a reason. They are put there to help learn and grow so we can achieve our life purpose. No doubt, we don’t always welcome these challenges. And sometimes we try to avoid them by focusing on others rather than focusing on ourselves and meeting the challenges head on.

We are reminded that helping others does not give us a “pass” on working on ourselves.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-I am fully capable of facing and conquering the challenges put in front of me.

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Waking up with my grandsons.

-A beautiful day.

-A great nap.

-Catching up with Mary and Jody.

-Finished a good book series.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
