For your consideration…

How we view failure is a mindset that comes from judgment.

Too often, we fail to take risks because we are afraid we will fail. This fear causes us to miss opportunities. Very few, if any, very successful people will say that they have not failed at things throughout their lives. They became successful because they did not view failure as the “end.” They do not judge themselves as failures, only the attempt, event, or action. Often they can reflect and realize that it was a learning lesson that served them well in the future.

Every failure has something to teach us. Failure is not the end-all. We forget that we will learn our lessons one way or another so there is no reason to not take opportunities that are put in front of us. We will learn whether it is the success we want or the failure we don’t want. Consider this Georges Clemenceau quote…

“A man’s life is interesting primarily when he has failed…I well know.

For it’s a sign that he tried to surpass himself.”

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light, Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Try. Don’t be afraid of failing. Be excited for the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Mary’s last chemo appointment.

-Conner and Moose spent the afternoon with me.

-Alex, Conner and I went to Depot Town and had dinner outside.

-A new book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
