For your consideration…

We have another message about love. But it is with a completely different way to think about it.

We are here to live and grow and fulfill life purposes. We do this through life experiences. I think most of us would agree that we the best and easiest way to do that is to see life clearly….see its truth.

Our message today tells us that the only way to do that is when we experience life in a state of love. Love is truth. Love is light.

Consider this example I was given. While at dinner on Friday night, my friend Jul was asked about her recent cataract surgery. She had one eye done and is scheduled to go for the other eye soon. She gave the example we are using today. She explained that when she looked at the light fixture, the repaired eye saw white light. The unrepaired eye saw yellow.

That is what happens when we experience life outside of the state of love. We don’t see the light of truth. It is colored with the prejudice that is not of love.

Consider this quote by Robert Prinable…”LOVE is a space in which all other emotions can be experienced.” We would add “truthfully.”

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Try to stay in a state of love. When we find ourselves out of it, we simply need to pause, breath, let go, and return.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Alex and I went to Eastern Market to shop and have breakfast.

-Started cleaning my front porch for spring.

-Switched out the Easter decorations for spring ones.

-Ordered my groceries.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
