What's On Your Bucket List? (KJV)

For your consideration…

Well, today’s message is light and fun. It is about bucket lists.

As I searched a little on them, I realized that my idea of a bucket list is too narrow. And that is what makes today’s message become so much clearer.

I tended to think that a bucket list was big things that we want to do or see happen within our lifetime. Certainly, that is part of it. But our message asks us to open up those big things. Perhaps we chunk them out and put them on our bucket list. We are asked to also include smaller things on a bucket list. We could even have many bucket lists, i.e., Christmas season, vacations, summer, restaurants, etc.

Why include smaller, easier things on our bucket list or create an additional one? It is because when we check things off, we become encouraged. We become motivated. The more little things we check off, the more likely we will be to accomplish the big things.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“You are loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Take another stab at your bucket list(s).

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Catching up with my brother, sister, and Alex.

-Lunch with Vicki, Jul, and Betsy at White Lotus Farm Cafe.

-A good book.

-Work done on more Christmas cards.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
