Being Brave: The Courage to Begin | Hospice Austin

For your consideration…

Don’t you just love this little girl? Can you feel her thinking? Can you see her working up to something?

Our messages are coming in encouraging us to move into, jump onto, new opportunities. The time is right. The energy is right.

So what holds us back? Doubt, fear?

Our message today tells us to be brave. My son-in-law often tells Conner how proud he was of him because he was brave. Conner often replies, “I wasn’t brave. I was afraid.” James always responds, “That is why you were brave. You were afraid, and you did it anyway. When you overcome your fear, you are brave.”

This is the story of all of our lives.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of your light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Be brave.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day.

-Catching up with Alex, Shannon, Jackie, Beth, and Janet.

-After a year, I pulled out my framed pictures that I wanted to hang on a family gallery wall. I am not all done but nearly. Wahoo.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
