For your consideration…
Today’s message came in via the Alabama song, “Roll On (Eighteen Wheeler).” We are called specifically to the refrain…
You got itRoll on highway, roll on alongRoll on, Daddy, “til you get back homeRoll on family, roll on crewRoll on, Mama, like I asked you to doAnd roll on, eighteen-wheeler, roll on
Admittedly, I had to sit with these for awhile and figure out exactly what the point of today’s message is. There is drama later on in this song where the dad is missing for awhile and the family had to pull together in their faith and like in Pete the Cat says, “Roll on singing their song.” The above lyrics was the family’s song.
There is more to today’s message than I first thought. The first is we all have a role in our family and in the Universe. Our role is just that our role. There is no need to get caught up in other people’s drama they choose to let affect their role.
Secondly, we are reminded to have faith in ourselves, and our Guidance. Indeed, if we are rolling along singing our song and doing our best the best we can with our own roll, the Universe will play its part and roll out what we need in front of us.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Just keep rolling along singing your song.
What made me smile yesterday…
-A beautiful day.
-Catching up with Alex and Mary.
-I got AJ to the airport.
-Mojdeh and I had a great shopping and dinner trip to Plymouth.
-An evening with Conner and Alex.
