For your consideration…
“Make America great again”,,,hmm…you may be saying enough already. Sort of like the John F. Kennedy, “Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country.”
I couldn’t agree more with both statements but my favorite is the John F. Kennedy quote. And…I lends itself to today’s message. We are invited today to be contributors to greatness. Greatness in our own lives, the lives of others, our country, Mother Earth, Spirit, etc.
“Greatness can be achieved by developing a strong sense of purpose, working hard, and surrounding yourself with good people. It can also be cultivated by practicing self-belief, integrity, and honesty.” That is how AI defines greatness.
We can all strive for greatness in big and small ways. Indeed, true greatness is almost always a culmination of a lot of great small deed, moments, etc.
We are asked today to ask ourselves what is holding us back. All to often, sub-consciously we think that we have to be great first before we can do great things. But this is our ego telling us lies. Our Spirit know that we are capable of great things every single moment. Doing the best we can sets us up for greatness.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Affirm…”I am great.”
-Remember….You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
What made me smile yesterday…
-A beautiful day.
-Catching up with both my girls and Mary.
-I took food to Mary for a couple of good meals.
-I made home made tomato soup….sooo good.
-A good book.
