Goodbye 2011
For your consideration…..
Tonight we will turn the page and end another chapter in our lives. The year 2011 will be but a memory. Some things I suspect we are glad to leave behind while others we will want to take with us. And that is how it should be.
But we are reminded that on November 11, 2011 the portals were opened for the energy of a new time on earth. It is much bigger than a new year. We were told that nothing but the “Truth” will be acceptable from here on in. Today we were given the analogy of a “donut tire” on your car. You know, that little spare tire that is supposed to be used to get you to a service station where you can get your regular tire repaired. Well from November 11, 2011 we were given a “donut tire”.
But now we begin anew. It is expected that we have repaired our “tire” and are ready for the journey. We are ready to live in only our truth. We are ready to speak and act from our authentic self. We are ready to speak and act from our deepest and truest levels of emotions. We will no longer take short cuts around the truth. We will no longer morph ourselves into what we feel others are expecting.
No. We move forward only in the nakedness of our truth. We do not need to clothe it to disguise it. It is perfect as it is. It is exactly right for every situation with every person. Granted it may not always seem that way at first. But it is. Be confident. Stand firm. That is the HOPE.
Be afraid of nothing
you have within you-
all wisdom
all power
all strength
all understanding.

And so it is, Dear Ones. Happy New Year. Stay safe.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take……
-Meditate. Honor you. Love you. Trust you.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Drink lots of water. Drink at least one glass of water after each cocktail you may have today.
-Celebrate all that you have.
-Celebrate all that you love.
-Celebrate the potential of all you can be.
-Celebrate your perfection.
-Celebrate this beautiful new era we are ushering in.
What made me smile yesterday…..
-Alex went to be with her friend. I love that about her.
-My sister-in-law, Cathy. I talked to her not once but twice. And I smiled and giggled both times. She described her children have gone away for the weekend camping. We giggled because what they call camping in their 5th wheel is a far cry from when we took them camping as children. Back then if we decided to camp we just pulled the back seat out of our VW bug, grabbed a blanket and slept on it.
-We laughed at how I took off for Michigan in that VW bug and could not shut it off because it would not restart. Ultimately it quit in Las Vegas. And by the Grace of God, a mechanic took Shannon and I to his home to spend the afternoon with his wife and child because it was going to take him awhile to get the part and fix it.
-We smiled because our children are all safe and doing so incredibly well.
-We smiled remembering we each had times when we did not know how we were going to feed them or keep a roof over their heads. But we did. Somehow. We smiled at the wonder of that.
-We smiled because only her and I knew each other’s desperation. Only her and I remember it.
-We laughed as I told her of the mug Alex gave me one year that says, “Failure is not an option.” Yeah, been there, done that, Babycakes.
-We laughed because I took that mug to Stillwater and use it because writing my book is so difficult. I will prevail. I always do, somehow.
Love, Blessings and Gratitude,
Chris
