For your consideration…

Our exact message today was this, “Bravery is not the absence of fear. It is the act of overcoming that fear.”

Bravery is not about all of the big moments. Bravery is just as important in little moments as well. We are often fearful of change. We are not sure how it will be perceived or whether or not we will be accepted. We may have fear about whether or not we will be successful. We use our bravery to move through the fear and try. Sometimes we are hesitant to reach out to others. We use our bravery to move past that.

Today we celebrate our bravery…it is the decision point of every other virtue, it is the decision to try and try again.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Celebrate your bravery.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Bruce is very peaceful.

-We have found a rehab facility.

-Catching up with both my girls, Mary, and Vicki.

-Attending AJ’s lacrosse game.

-Drinking lots of water.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
