For your consideration…

Before I get started on today’s message, I need to make note on past messages. When you do readings, receive messages, your have to have trust in yourself and your connection to Spirit….believing in Spirit. As I sometimes say, there are messages I get that I don’t understand at first. I have to sit with it longer. Other times there are messages that while it is clear, it is something I don’t necessarily want to write. But that is not the promise I made with my Guidance. I must write what they give me. Still the human part of me loves when I get affirmations. I have been getting a lot of them recently. I listened to a reading today from Collette Baron Reid for the month of April. Counting blessings, staying in a state of gratitude, being kind to self and others, etc. is right in line with the messages I have been receiving and writing. Yesterday’s message was about the Golden Rule, doing unto others as you would have them do onto you. Today I taught in a 7th grad history class. The chapter they are studying is Christianity. And part of the text was Jesus commands to love God above all else and love your neighbor as you love yourself. I got goosebumps. I am so grateful for these affirmations.

Ok, onto today’s message. Bluejays showed up in force. It is not uncommon for me to see a bluejay in my yard but it is for me to see a flock of them. They were quite the attention getter.

Bluejay represent the PROPER use of power. Bluejays have the intrinsic power to link the heavens and earth and the greater power of each. They easily balance between the two thus the PROPER use of their power.

We two have this power. But too often we just “dabble” in each versus using our power to master both, to move between them easily like the bluejay does. This is very important right now because we have to learn to trust ourselves and our Spirit. A lots has been put in front of us. A lots is going on in the world but we have to let go and let these changes manifest. Our God is doing some weeding out so that great new change can come.

The crest of the bluejay reminds us that mastery of anything requires dedication, commitment, and responsibility. Just dabbling will not get the job done.

When bluejays show up they are telling us that this is a time of change and we are fully capable of adapting. We are resourceful if we let go and allow ourselves to use our power. Be like the bluejay and have no fear of this change.

In this great time of change, bluejays have been given to us to remind us that we have a choice. We can commit to mastering our power between both the heavens and the earth. We can claim our power or we can continue to dabble a bit in each world. Working at our mastery may seem like the harder road. But without it, we live in fear and uncertainty. We are left susceptible to the propaganda that we are bombarded with.

We have a choice. We always have a choice.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Let go and feel Mother Earth. Feel and listen to your Spirit and your Guidance.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day. We’re getting it all here in Michigan.

-Catching up with AJ, Mary. and Jackie.

-Some account updating done.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
