For your consideration…

A friend recently said to me, “Chris, the world seems too big.” More than likely, we have all felt that way at times. We feel overwhelmed. We feel like we can’t keep up, etc.

Our message today reminds us that this is normal. We all go through these stages in our life. What can we do when we feel this way and feel like we are stuck. We just want to stay in our home where we feel safe and in control.

This is not a bad thing. When the world feels too big, we feel out of control and unqualified. Our home comforts us. We feel in control there. That is exactly what we need to move forward.
We need to seize control bit by bit, piece by piece, step by step. By chunking what is overwhelming into smaller pieces we regain our confidence and soon we can walk in the world with confidence in the knowledge that we are up for the exciting challenges and opportunities the big world has to offer us.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Remember…You are the keeper of the light. Wherever you go, there can be no darkness.

-Chunk what is too big into smaller pieces.

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breath.

What made me smile yesterday…

-A beautiful day albeit very very cold.

-Cuddling with Moose and Louie.

-Catching up with both my girls and Mary.

-A good book.

Love, Blessings, and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
