For your consideration…
Our message came in via the song, “Age of Aquarius.” Frankly, I like the words in this song but not the song itself so I will be glad to write this blog and get it out of my head.
Growth through peace is the main message today.
Harmony and understanding
Sympathy and trust abounding
No more falsehoods or derisions
Golden living dreams of visions
Mystic crystal revelation
And the mind’s true liberation
Isn’t this what we all seek? Isn’t it what we all want? Yet it alludes us. So we are left to question what is the answer. What can I do? Again, the words of the song given us today guide us…
Let the sun shine in
Open up your heart and let it shine on in
When you are lonely, let it shine on
Got to open up your heart and let it shine on in
And when you feel like you’ve been mistreated
And your friends turn away
Just open your heart, and shine it on in.
We are born with the light of heaven in our souls. It can get buried by life but it can never be extinguished. Our job is to stoke it. Fire it up. Open up our heart and let it shine no matter what. That is what we CAN do.
That is the HOPE. And so it is.
Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…
-Affirm…“I am loved.”
-Celebrate our light. Share our light.
-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.
-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”
-Drink lots of water.
What made me smile yesterday…
-The rain held off long enough for Don to get the lawn mowed.
-Catching up with Pam.
-A new fall martini recipe…yum.
-Catching up with Alex.
-We seem to be back on track with one of Bruce’s caregivers, Erica.
