For your consideration…

Our message today was exactly this, “Step up and into your fear instead of down and away from it.”

The unknown is often scarier than the known. It is often more uncomfortable than the comfortable. Fear rules in this area. The what ifs run rampage in our mind. Our ego takes over and fans the flames of the potential pitfalls.

Way too often we let our ego talk us down and away from embracing our fear. But if we pause and call our spirit forward, we see that what we fear is actually an opportunity that we are fully prepared for. Our spirit cheers us up and on.

Franklin D. Roosevelt, “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.”

Amen to that.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Step up and into our fear.

What made me smile yesterday…

-Our kindergarten tea party was a huge success.

-These students worked with me on a couple of projects for their teacher who is retiring. They were so excited to surprise her with them today.

-She loved them and started to cry. I think at first they thought she was teasing. Then one of them says, “She has tears. She is really crying.” To which another replies, “I’ll get the tissues.”

-Coming in from recess I pulled my sunglasses off. One of my students says, “Mrs. Adams you look different without your glasses.” Um Hmm.” I replied as I put on my regular glasses. To which he then replied, “Now you look like a teacher again.”

-Catching up with Lori and Alex.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
