For your consideration….

Today’s message came in via the old song we sang as children, “Sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me.” That is what we were told as children but it is not true. Words do hurt unless we choose not to let them in.

“Is it true?” This is what we should ask children and ourselves. If it is not true, then we simply reject it. We don’t let it in.

We are reminded that what someone says is all about them. It is a reflection of them and who they are.

Accept what is true and reject the rest.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Accept and allow into your spirit only what is true.

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

What made me smile yesterday….

-A day of everything…..A little sunshine…a little rain…and a little in between.

-A good book.

-A lot of rest.

-Some laughs. I know it is not funny to most but I laughed out loud every time I think of Bodexpress running the Preakness without his jockey. It was if he was saying, “Don’t worry boss. I got this.” You just have to love the spirit.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
