For your consideration…

Dreams are important whether they are fun, scary, comforting etc. Dreams are one of the vehicles our Guidance has of communicating with us. It does not have to compete for our attention when we are sleeping.

Some of us have trouble remembering our dreams. Myself included. I have heard but often forget to “program ourselves.” We are told to remind, tell ourselves, first thing when we wake up that we will remember our dreams when we next fall to sleep. We are also told to remind ourselves the same thing right before bedtime. It is helpful to keep a journal and pen beside the bed for when we wake up to quickly jot what we remember down.

We  have heard all of this before. But there is a very specific point to today’s message. We are told to not worry about whether or not we remember the whole dream. Whatever we remember….even if it is just one word…is important and good enough.

Take what you have and look it up in a dream book. I have several dream books but I hardly ever open any of them except one by Betty Bethards called The Dream Book. It is the smallest dream book I have but never lets me down. I have it on my reference page. The cover has changed over the many years since I bought mine but the content is the same. I have given it to both of my daughters and away as gifts to others many many times. I have it on my Kindle but find it much easier to use it in printed form. This is a valuable tool to understanding our dreams.

Don’t be surprised if your dream’s meaning is nothing like what you dreamed. It usually isn’t but you will get enough to know exactly what part of your life it is referencing.

Our dreams are comforting reminders that we are not alone. Our Guidance is always with us 24/7 even if we are not calling on them.

That is the HOPE. And so it is.

Bit by bit, piece by piece, HOPE by HOPE action steps anyone can take…

-Affirm…“I am loved.”

-Meditate/pray…ask…”What is my next step for my highest good and the highest good of all?”

-Drink lots of water.

-Get outdoors and take in at least 10 deep breaths.

-Analyze your dreams.

What made me smile yesterday…\

-It was Friday.

-No rain until late….just the way I like it.

-A good book.

-Catching up with Dianne, Jackie and Alex.

Love, Blessings and Gratitude,

Rev. Chris
