Inclusion

For your consideration……

Wow, this is a tough one. I know that when the word “inclusion” comes into play, everyone runs to their corner. The very word has been abused and made so political. This blog excludes all politics as I said in my promise. So let’s just try to consider what your God, whoever he is to you, wants us to hear.

We are all put here as one. We are all in this together. Deep down we know that. Deep down we remember that as different as we all seem we are all equals in the eye’s of God. It is never our job to play God. But it is always our job to act as God would.

God is accepting and inclusive, always inviting us in without demands. Demands, by their very nature, are indicative of judgement. And where there is judgement, there is automatically exclusion no matter what inviting words were used.

Real inclusion is inviting people and things into our space with no demands. We invite them into a safe place to be all that they can be. We invite them into a safe place to realize their soul’s potential knowing that is a gift to all of us for our highest good.

We may have forgotten this. And we certainly aren’t going to be reminded from the TV. It is up to us to be the inclusion candle lighting the way by example. That is the HOPE.  

Bit by bit, piece by piece, hope by hope action steps anyone can take……. –

-Meditate for as long as you can.

-Drink lots of water.

-Practice “no judgement”. This includes not passing judgement on yourself.

-Get outside and play.

-Laugh

What made me smile yesterday…..

-Have you ever found something you just love and you can tell from the faces of everyone else that they just don’t know what to say? Yeah, I bought one of those.

-Both daughters.

-I got caught up on lots of “tasks”. Boy there is never a shortage of those.

-Homework is good. Really good.
